🧭 How to register on Prosfora

🧍 For Clients

  1. Sign up — Create your free account with your email or Google login.
  2. Add your details — Name, location, and a short description (optional).
  3. Payment method — Add a credit or debit card under Payment Methods — this will allow you to pay for services directly through Prosfora (Stripe account not required).
  4. Book a service — Find the provider, message them, agree on the details, and confirm your booking.

💡 Tip: You can save your favorite providers or services for future projects.

🧑‍🔧 For Service Providers

  1. Create your Prosfora account.
  2. Select “Offer services” during sign-up or in your profile settings.
  3. Connect your Stripe account — this step is required to receive payments.
    • Stripe will ask for basic identity verification (KYC),
    • You’ll securely link your bank account for payouts,
    • Once verified, you’ll automatically receive transaction rights.
  4. Create your listing — Add your service title, description, pricing, and photos.
  5. Go live — Once your listing is approved, clients in Metro Vancouver can find and book you.

💳 Who needs to connect Stripe?

Only service providers who receive payments are required to connect a Stripe account.
This ensures all payouts are secure and every professional is verified.

Providers must:

  • Link their bank account,
  • Accept Prosfora’s payment terms.

Once verified, they can receive payments directly to their bank account after each completed job.

👥 What about clients?

Clients don’t need a Stripe account.
They can simply:

  1. Add a valid payment method (credit or debit card) in their account,
  2. Confirm their booking,
  3. Pay safely through Prosfora’s checkout.

All payments are processed via Stripe, a world-class, encrypted system used by millions of platforms worldwide.

💬 How does payment work?

  • When a client books a service, the amount is securely held by Stripe until the work is completed.
  • Once the provider confirms completion, Stripe releases the payout automatically.
  • Prosfora’s small commission (usually 5–8%) is applied transparently before payout.

This process protects both sides — no cash risks, no uncertainty.
