Prosfora began with a simple observation:

Pricing, Commission & Earnings

At Prosfora, we believe pricing should be simple, fair, and transparent for both clients and providers.

Our model is built around completed work — not paid leads, subscriptions, or hidden monthly costs.

For Service Providers

Providers pay a flat 10% platform fee only when they complete a paid booking through Prosfora.

There are:

No subscription fees
No setup fees
No paid leads
No hidden monthly costs
No fee just to receive a message
No fee unless paid work is completed through Prosfora

Provider example

If the service price is $100.00 CAD:

Service price: $100.00 CAD
Prosfora platform fee: $10.00 CAD
GST on Prosfora platform fee: $0.50 CAD
Estimated provider payout: $89.50 CAD

If the service price is $500.00 CAD:

Service price: $500.00 CAD
Prosfora platform fee: $50.00 CAD
GST on Prosfora platform fee: $2.50 CAD
Estimated provider payout: $447.50 CAD

This example assumes GST applies to Prosfora’s platform fee.

Your payout statement will clearly show the service price, Prosfora platform fee, applicable taxes on the platform fee, and estimated provider payout.

For Clients

Clients pay a small 3% booking fee when booking and paying through Prosfora.

This fee helps support:

Provider profiles
Messaging
Platform support
A clearer service experience from request to payment

Client example

If the service price is $100.00 CAD:

Service price: $100.00 CAD
Prosfora booking fee: $3.00 CAD
GST on Prosfora booking fee: $0.15 CAD
Estimated client total: $103.15 CAD

If the service price is $500.00 CAD:

Service price: $500.00 CAD
Prosfora booking fee: $15.00 CAD
GST on Prosfora booking fee: $0.75 CAD
Estimated client total: $515.75 CAD

This example assumes GST applies to Prosfora’s client booking fee.

If a service provider is required to charge GST/HST on their own services, that may be added separately by the provider.

Why This Model Works

Providers only pay for real results

Prosfora does not charge providers for leads, messages, profile creation, or monthly access.

Providers pay only when paid work is completed through the platform.

Clients pay a small booking fee

The client booking fee is only 3%, keeping the cost simple, clear, and affordable.

The platform stays aligned with both sides

Prosfora earns when clients book and providers get paid.

That keeps the platform focused on completed work, better trust, and real marketplace value.

Taxes

GST may apply to Prosfora’s platform fees and client booking fees.

Service providers are responsible for their own tax obligations, including whether they are required to register for, charge, collect, or remit GST/HST on their own services.

Prosfora does not provide tax advice.

Prosfora is a marketplace platform that helps clients and independent service providers connect, communicate, book, and pay through a structured flow.

Prosfora does not perform the services listed by providers.

Providers set their own prices, manage their own work, and remain responsible for the services they offer.

Prosfora provides the structure that helps both sides move forward with more clarity and confidence.
